202x With A New Style

Artists use light most often to illuminate and model form but in some natural phenomena the play of light itself is appealing. These start as very simple sketches - pencil on paper or stylus on screen - then imagination takes over. All are duly completed in Photoshop or Krita for realistic shape and radiance.

2026 now marks a return to physical media (chalk pastel) for a portrait of two Drifted Souls and Autumn Sunset in the numbered Impressions series.
