Back in the day of art books and magazines one baffling trend was the stylistic depiction of chrome.
Paintings of chrome on cars and toasters alike spread its peculiar eye-catching reflections everywhere.  Airbrush artists in the 70's added chrome effects to motorcycle gas tanks and LP album covers but there were more hues in a painted version than existed in the actual subject. Artistic license of course, yet baffling to me because chrome is just a mirror. Or is it?

Good art is expressive and interpretive, so reflective chrome invites stylised hues for emphasis and in my glass concept, stylised colour accentuates its form.
