Astronomer

Astronomer depicts some arcane machinery for inter-galactic observations. Its pitted metal and aged patina suggest a long sojourn in outer space. Whether its systems still work is unknown, not to mention how they function at all. Thankfully, mysterious constructions often are solved by study of their maker, context of design and contemporary significance. Else they eventually become "just a relic".
